Project Overview
Aarambh (meaning "The Beginning" in Hindi) is a capstone project where I designed
a concept for an AI-based personalised learning and career guidance platform. The project involved
extensive market research, competitive analysis, business model development, and data-backed
financial projections.
Drawing on my 5+ years of experience in education and my current PGDM studies in Data Science
& Business Analytics, I identified a real gap in the EdTech space — the lack of truly
personalised learning paths that adapt to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and career goals.
Aarambh was designed to solve this using AI-driven recommendations, competency mapping,
and real-time performance analytics.
The project was presented before faculty and industry experts at ISBR Business School and
won the Startup Idea Competition in November 2025, recognised for innovation
and business feasibility.

My Approach
Phase 1: Market Research & Problem Validation
- Conducted primary research through surveys and interviews with 50+ students and educators
- Validated the problem statement with real user pain points and market data
- Analysed the Indian EdTech market — growth trends, TAM/SAM/SOM calculations
- Identified the gap: no platform combines AI-personalisation + career guidance + competency mapping
Phase 2: Competitive Analysis
- Evaluated 10+ industry competitors including Byju's, Unacademy, Coursera, Khan Academy, Simplilearn
- Created a detailed competitive matrix comparing features, pricing, target audience, and gaps
- Identified differentiators: AI-driven learning paths, career mapping, institutional analytics
- Used SWOT analysis framework for each major competitor
Phase 3: Platform Design & Business Model
- Designed the platform architecture with 4 core modules:
- 📚 AI-Personalised Learning Engine (adaptive content delivery)
- 🎯 Career Guidance Module (competency-to-career mapping)
- 📊 Analytics Dashboard (for students, teachers, and institutions)
- 🤝 Mentorship Connect (industry expert pairing)
- Developed a Business Model Canvas with 5 revenue streams: subscriptions, institutional licensing, corporate partnerships, certification fees, and mentorship marketplace
- Created financial projections with break-even analysis
Phase 4: Presentation & Competition
- Prepared a comprehensive pitch deck with data-backed projections
- Presented to a panel of faculty and industry experts at ISBR
